This product has been developed under the support and assistant of related national departments experiencing two years and seven months, which adopted top pole insulated technology,fully sealed with Epoxy Resin and Silicones. It’s the updated product of SF6 filled gas insulation sealed ring main units. It is also the national new invention which has been awarded for international, national all together seven patents, that has been listed into many national technological research and financial supporting projects.
Design Features

1. Computer-simulation design, improved standard of design, strengthened structure analysis
The whole process of design is adopted the system of Solidworks for simulating analysis. Solidworks/Motion is a 3-D software system based on Microsoft Windows Platform which enables the functions of solid modeling design, FEA analysis and optimal design, virtual assembling, 3-D mechanical motion simulation, action interface detection, technological procedure formation, design of NC machining simulation, shared product information and other functions.
2. Realization of Power distribution automation
Standard DTU (RTU) modular, equipped with GPRS, fiber Optic Cable, RS485 multiple communication connectors and protocols.

Solid-Insulation ring main unit adopts modular structure which enables field assembling and adjusting which can also be customized according to different customers’ requirements.
Application Features
1. Suited for areas with extreme temperatures
Solid-insulation Ring Main Units sealed and insulated with Epoxy Resin and Silicones which fundamentally avoids the problems exposed by SF6 filled ring main units. The gas filled Ring Main Units are prone to be liquefied and contracted at very low temperatures and to be expanded at very high temperatures.
2. Suited for High Altitude
Solid-Insulation technology eliminates the gas holding mechanism which avoids the potential of gas leaking and deformation of gas holding mechanism at high altitude areas.
3. Suited for High Environmental Requirements areas
SF6 is thousands times more harmful than Freon to atmosphere, solid-insulation technology eliminates SF6 adoption which fundamentally reduces the potential danger of gas leakage to environment.
4. Long Mechanical Life
The mechanical life for SF6 filled ring main units is about 2000 times, the mechanical life for ring main units with solid-insulation technology is about ten thousands times.
5. Inconvenient Areas
Due to the special chemical and physical attributes of SF6, it can not be applied for some inconvenient areas which limit the application of SF6 filled ring main units. Solid-Insulation Ring Main units do not have such limitations.
